Job summary

Westland Insurance Group Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a People & Performance Program Specialist (hybrid) to lead employee program initiatives and rollout new programs, helping shape a collaborative, high-performance culture.

You’ll partner with HR leadership to enhance engagement, analyze program data, and support initiatives across learning, total rewards, DEI, and talent acquisition, while ensuring clear documentation and effective implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Knowledge of provincial employment standards and employment law.
• Ability to analyze HR metrics.
• Experience with HR systems/software.

Responsibilities

• Support HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives while evaluating program effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
• Analyze HR program data for insights to be shared with leaders.
• Prepare accurate and timely documentation related to HR programs.
• Develop initiatives promoting a positive workplace culture and work-life balance.
• Monitor DEI metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $66,000 to $78,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
