Job summary

Bardel Entertainment is seeking a People Ops Coordinator to support artists and production teams in a hybrid Vancouver area environment. The 1-year term is full-time, with an option for extension, and a late October to early November start.

The role bridges Production and HR, ensuring smooth crew processes, onboarding, compliance, and employee experience. The successful candidate will manage onboarding, time-logging, and employee lifecycle tasks, collaborating with IT, Recruitment, and Payroll

Qualifications

• Experience in HR coordination or production coordination in animation/VFX or similar.
• Experience onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Understanding of resource planning and crew capacity in a production setting.
• Strong communication across Production, HR, and Leadership teams.
• Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assess upcoming resource needs by reviewing department demand vs crew capacity.
• Participate in weekly retention and resource meetings to address challenges.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding activities and act as onboarding liaison across teams.
• Support HR management of artists including time-logging, reviews and contract extensions.
• Audit HRIS data for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives and uphold company values.
