Job summary

Bardel Entertainment in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a People Ops Coordinator to bridge Production and HR, supporting artists and production teams with crew capacity, onboarding, time-logging, and contract extensions. This is a full-time, 1-year contract with hybrid work and a start window in late October to early November 2026.

The role requires experience in HR coordination, onboarding/offboarding, and resource planning within animation or a related creative production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating HR/resource activities in animation or related productions.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Understanding of resource planning and crew capacity in a production setting.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Professional discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support production and artist teams with crew capacity and resource planning.
• Participate in weekly retention and resource meetings with insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including pre-boarding and documentation.
• Manage HR administration and ensure accurate records in HRIS (Rippling).
• Assist in contract extensions, performance tracking, and time-logging oversight.
• Collaborate across People Ops, Production, Recruitment, IT, and Payroll.
