Target Start Date: Late October to early November

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, depending on business needs
Application Deadline: Friday, Sept 25

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in weekly retention and resource meetings, bringing forward challenges, insights, and recommendations to support show and departmental needs.
  • Communicate regularly with Production and Artist teams to gather information, review resourcing opportunities to promote support artist retention.
  • Support Production teams in the HR management of artists, including tracking compliance, responding to queries, monitoring performance, overseeing time-logging accuracy, coordinating annual reviews, identifying next-show opportunities, and managing contract extensions.
  • Coordinate weekly onboarding and offboarding activities, including pre-boarding, orientation, team integration, employee exits, documentation, and HR administration. Serve as the primary onboarding liaison between People Ops, Production, Recruitment, IT, and Payroll, ensuring a consistent employee experience, accurate recordkeeping, and continuous process improvement.
  • Anticipate and mitigate people-related issues where possible, escalating concerns to People Ops in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular People Ops auditing including contract details, time off balances, and other employment information to ensure HRIS (Rippling) is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the People Ops Lead in employee engagement initiatives and champion the studio’s People & Culture values.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, tracking tools, and production/HR systems (e.g., ShotGrid, Rippling, ATS tools, or internal platforms).
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting a positive crew experience and enabling smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work 2 days per week on-site, including in-studio attendance during onboarding and predetermined Rush Weeks.
