Feed Nova Scotia is seeking a Human Resources & Volunteer Services Coordinator to strengthen organizational capacity and foster an inclusive workplace across the province. You will support onboarding, records management and payroll processes while coordinating volunteer services to enhance staff and volunteer experience.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, data integrity and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in administrative support in people services or HR coordination role.
• Experience with payroll administration.
• Experience working with databases/HRIS such as BambooHR, or general record-management software.
• Experience managing Volgistics and VicNet are considered an asset.
• Experience in a Charity/Not‑for‑Profit sector or equity‑driven workplace is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepares onboarding packages and coordinates orientation for new staff.
• Maintains HR records and standardizes documentation across files.
• Tracks candidates through recruitment pipeline using templates and tools.
• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient departmental operations.
• Responds to inquiries and directs staff/volunteers to resources or team members.
• Supports data entry for dashboards and equity metrics; updates systems and manages access.
