Job summary

Magris Talc is seeking an organized HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support the Timmins and Penhorwood operations. You will manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration, while maintaining HR records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

The role requires 2–3 years in HR, proficiency with HRIS, and a valid G license to travel between sites. You will partner with managers and external service providers to deliver excellent HR service in a fast-paced mining

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or HR Administration.
Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code.
Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
Valid G driver's license and ability to travel between Timmins and Penhorwood.

Responsibilities

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly and entry-level positions, from job posting through candidate selection and onboarding.
Support and maintain the company-wide onboarding program, helping new employees integrate successfully into the organization.
Assist with employee benefits, pension administration, and general employee support activities.
Maintain employee records, HR systems, reporting, and documentation in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
Support workforce planning, training administration, employee communications, and HR projects.
Partner with employees, supervisors, managers, and external service providers to deliver exceptional HR service and support.
