Job summary

Magris Talc is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support the Timmins and Penhorwood operations. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will coordinate safety programs, maintain management systems, and encourage a proactive safety culture across site activities.

You will collaborate with operations, employees, and contractors; manage records and reporting; coordinate training and incident investigations; and help ensure compliance with OHSA and mining regulations.

Qualifications

• CRST certification, or working toward this designation.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, mining regulations, and industrial regulations.
• Experience in open pit mining is an asset.
• 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support health and safety programs across Timmins and Penhorwood sites.
• Maintain safety records and reporting processes to support regulatory needs.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, audits, and safety communications.
• Coordinate health and safety training and contractor safety requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to promote safe work practices.
