Job summary

LCBO is seeking a People Analytics and Data Engineer to join a collaborative team. This onsite 12-month contract role focuses on architecting human capital data foundations and delivering predictive workforce insights to inform decision making and organizational accountability.

You will lead data architectures, pipelines, and dashboards, partnering with HR and business leaders to enable real-time analytics, reporting, and governance across Workday data and other sources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role or equivalent analytics experience.
• Experience with large data sets from disparate data sources and data mining.
• Expert in data analytics and visualization.
• Advanced knowledge and skill in SQL for analytics (CTEs, Windows functions, Joins).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain analytics-ready data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data models.
• Build datasets to enable predictive analytics, workforce planning and organization health metrics.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, data models and DAX logic integrating multiple data sources.
• Partner with HR Technology and HR teams to translate questions into scalable data solutions.
