Job summary

HOOPP is seeking a Business Analyst within the Pension Product and Technology Group to translate pension business needs into clear, testable requirements and to support the delivery and reliability of member and employer services. You will work with product, actuarial, technology, vendor, and QA partners to analyze changes, define outcomes, plan testing, manage defects, and maintain documentation.

This role blends business analysis with hands-on QA and operational support.

Qualifications

• Role requires translating pension business needs into clear requirements and supporting delivery and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business, system, and operational requirements for enhancements, regulatory changes, and production issues.
• Plan and execute testing, develop risk-based test strategies, and create test cases for multiple testing phases.
• Identify, document, triage, and track defects and gaps; collaborate with developers, vendors, and partners to verify fixes and manage releases.
• Collaborate across Product Owners/Managers, Actuarial, Developers, and QA teams to improve requirements quality, test coverage, and documentation using approved tools.
