Job summary

HOOPP’s Pension Benefits & Policy team seeks a Policy Advisor to support policy and regulatory compliance for Plan provisions and documentation. You will help develop and maintain Plan policies, interpret plan documents, and assist Member Services with pension deliverables.

You will collaborate across sections, monitor regulatory updates, and ensure risk controls while supporting plan amendments and education for colleagues and employers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pension administration and Canadian retirement system.
• Strong analytical thinking and risk assessment abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Plan policies and procedures.
• Review Plan publications for technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with HOOPP areas on pension law and policy.
• Draft correspondence for sensitive policy matters.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting the Plan.
