NAIT in Edmonton is seeking a casual Writing Centre Tutor I to support students across programs with writing assignments, planning, and development of arguments.
You will guide thesis statements, source integration, and self-editing, while engaging with diverse learners both in person and online; a NAIT student with good GPA and up-to-date tutoring experience is preferred, with flexibility for on-campus and remote work.

This is a casual opportunity starting on September 1, 2026, and ending on or before April 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Writing Centre Coordinator
Tutoring may occur virtually or in person at the NAIT Writing Centre.
Refer to salary range noted on this posting, plus 12% in lieu of statutory holidays and vacation pay. The compensation range for this job posting is : $15.91. This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
