NAIT’s Department of Corporate & Continuing Education is seeking Contract Instructors who are both willing and capable of teaching specifically in Indigenous communities across Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories. The role involves travel and accommodation in remote areas, with daytime availability required from Monday to Friday. Some weekend availability may be required. Each instructor will teach within their specific trade area of expertise, such as AIT Entrance Exam Prep, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Welding and Culinary. Instructors may teach existing Continuing Education courses or assist in delivering customized training for clients. Contract Instructors must be flexible, resourceful, innovative and passionate about teaching adults of all ages and backgrounds.
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services (WES), International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or the Comparative Education Services (CES).
