Job summary

ParaMed in Muskoka is hiring a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse for pediatric shift work, serving patients in their homes across Muskoka. New graduates are welcome and will receive comprehensive training.

You will perform assessments, implement care plans, document visits, and travel between patient residences with mileage and travel time compensation. A signing bonus of up to 3500 is offered, along with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse or RPN in good standing
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset
• Reliability and flexibility
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area
• Passion for making a difference in your community
• Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs

Pay rate for Registered Nurse: $34.46/visit + mileage

Pay Rate for Registered Practical Nurse: $26.27/visit + mileage
