Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a community Pediatric RN (RPN) to visit patients in their homes, providing age-diverse palliative care. You will assess needs, implement and monitor care plans, and build trusting relationships with patients and families.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within the service area. On-call coverage, including after hours, is required to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.

• Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.

In this community Pediatric RN Shift Nursing role, as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of palliative care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible. Experience with children is mandatory for this position.
