ParaMed Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a full-time community nursing role with regular travel across the Waterloo Region. You will conduct scheduled visits, deliver ethical and safe nursing care, assess patient needs, and update records while collaborating with RNs for complex cases.
On-call shifts and weekends are part of the schedule. Valid CNO registration is required, with pediatric care experience and willingness to travel to patient homes.
This is a replacement vacancy. In this community nursing role, you as a Pediatric Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will have scheduled shifts within the community to care for patients in various settings with the support of RNs for more complex patients. You will work with patients of pediatric ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible. This is a Full-Time position, requires travel anywhere within the Waterloo Region. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. One evening on-call shift per week: 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. Regular weekend on-call rotation: Friday at 4:30 p.m. – Monday at 8:00 a.m. Care for pediatric patients with varying levels of medical complexity, including palliative care HPC training courses required.
