Job summary

ParaMed in Canada seeks an RPN for community home visits across a designated area. You will assess patients, implement and adjust care plans, and build trust with patients and families in their homes.

Travel is required within the service region; on-call coverage is part of the role. The position offers a full-time schedule, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Active CNO registration as an RPN in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in community care is an asset.
  • Reliable and flexible in scheduling and travel.
  • Wamiliar with home-based nursing care and assessments.
  • On-call coverage including after hours when needed.

  • Execute and monitor care plans.
  • Engage patients by building rapport and trust.

In this community RPN Visiting Nursing role, as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of palliative care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.
