Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for community nursing visits across designated areas. You will assess patients’ needs and implement care plans while building trusting relationships to support comfortable, in-home care.

You must have CNO registration in good standing and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel. On-call coverage after hours is required, and you’ll join a team offering training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse or RPN in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Reliability and flexibility to travel within a designated area.
• Willingness to travel to patient residences and provide on-call coverage after hours.

Job Description In this community nursing role, as a Registered Nurse (RN) OR Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.
