Job summary

SE Health in Canada is seeking a Payroll Specialist with Workday implementation experience to support a large-scale transformation while also assisting with day-to-day payroll operations. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Canadian payroll experience.
• Direct experience supporting a Workday Payroll implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation project.
• Experience with system testing, UAT, payroll validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, taxation, and employment standards.
• Experience processing payroll in a multi-provincial environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing for a large, multi-provincial workforce.
• Participate in Workday Payroll implementation activities, testing, and deployment support.
• Execute payroll validation, parallel testing, reconciliations, and data audits.
• Investigate system-related payroll issues and recommend solutions.
• Assist with configuration reviews, process documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support payroll reporting, controls, and compliance processes.
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and implementation teams to ensure project success.
• Contribute to payroll modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and organizational policies.

Payroll Specialist (Workday Implementation) Location Markham, ON Job Type Corporate Employment Status Temporary/Contract

Note: This is a 6-month contract with a possibility of extension.

Location: This role requires to work onsite (Markham, ON) up to 4 days per week during testing and key implementation activities.

Job Summary

This role will play a critical part in payroll testing, validation, system configuration support, issue resolution, and payroll process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end payroll processing for a large, multi-provincial workforce
• Participate in Workday Payroll implementation activities, testing, and deployment support
