Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent is seeking a payroll professional to manage accurate processing for CMHA Lambton Kent and CHC, reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services. You will ensure timely time-entry transmission, handle deductions, and complete government reports.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of payroll experience, accounting education, and bilingual abilities. The role offers 35 hours per week in a flexible schedule within a non-profit environment.

Competenze

• 1-3 years payroll experience required.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA membership is an asset; bilingualism preferred.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for agency duties.

Mansioni

• Ensure accurate time entries and transmission of payroll within deadlines.
• Review payroll output and initiate appropriate adjustments.
• Analyze and reconcile employee benefits; prepare deduction payments.
• Update employee information in payroll system until HRIS is operational.
• Complete government statistical reports and year-end remittances (T4s/T4As).
• Respond to Employment Insurance inquiries and Pension Plan deductions.
