• Proven leadership experience in an end-to-end UKG implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the payroll team.
• Oversee payroll reconciliations, statutory remittances, audits, and year-end reporting, including T4s and RL-1s.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation and collective agreements.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize UKG Pro Payroll and WFM, including integrations, reporting, and system controls.
• Lead UKG implementations, upgrades, testing/UAT, data validation, and post-go-live support.
• Drive payroll automation, process improvements, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance payroll operations.

• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, taxation, statutory deductions, and year-end processes.
• Experience with multi-province, federally regulated, or unionized payroll environments is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex reconciliations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
