Job summary

Dumas Contracting Ltd. is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. The role collaborates with the Payroll Team to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing while maintaining confidentiality of employee information.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in business or accounting and at least two years of payroll experience; bilingual English/French is an asset. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting is required or asset.
• Two years of payroll experience preferred.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process timely and accurate payroll in collaboration with the Payroll Team.
• Perform time entry and validation; resolve discrepancies before processing.
• Assist with hires, transfers, terminations, rate changes and documentation.
• Support Payroll Administrators with hourly and salaried payroll processing.
• Generate data retrieval, analysis and reports as requested.
