Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will join the Finance group based in our Brampton, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Assist Payroll Administrators with all payroll tasks
  • Process new hires, changes (salary adjustments, inactivations/reactivations), and terminations from HRIS system Oracle to time entry system Deltek Vision VantagePoint and ADP payroll system
  • Prepare premium calculations, wellness reimbursements, and manage garnishment notices
  • Maintain time sheet groups in the time entry system
  • Correct and adjust employee time sheets as needed
  • Code and import payroll data into ADP
  • Export hours from the time entry system, balance to payroll reports, and process through ADP interface, verifying accuracy
  • Respond to employee and HR inquiries
  • Maintain and assist employees with ADP online pay statement access
  • Prepare manual cheques and calculations when required
  • Maintain electronic employee files
  • Verify and issue ROEs through ROE Web as needed
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, generate reports, and handle filing
What your experience looks like
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a payroll environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and email communication
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  • Team player with a passion for their work
  • CPA designation of ‘PCP’ is preferred
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
