Job summary

Solvest is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Yukon-based Finance team. The role focuses on collecting, verifying, and processing payroll, ensuring accurate entitlements and on-time payments.

The ideal candidate will bring payroll and accounting experience, strong organization, and a keen eye for detail. Working from our Whitehorse head office with potential for limited mobility, you will help streamline Acumatica usage and support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting or relevant financial experience.
• Experience with ERP systems would be considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee payroll data across Canadian currencies.
• Collaborate with People & Culture to ensure accurate payroll reflecting changes.
• Prepare and submit payroll remittances and tax filings on time.
• Process reimbursement claims and balance statements of earnings.
• Balance and reconcile payrolls and generate period-end reports.
