Overview

Job Type: 14 month contract to start. (Possibility to be permanent)

Job Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 / Year. (Flexibility depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees ensuring all checks and balances are completed
• Review deductions to ensure accuracy and remittances are made as scheduled
• Calculate overtime and General Holiday pay
• Audit system time entries and timecard corrections for accuracy before posting
• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, benefits, vacation time, sick pay, insurance, and other deductions
• Assist with year-end processing
• Issue Records of Employment as required
• Maintain accurate records of new hires and terminations
• Address payroll related queries and requests from employees
• Create required internal payroll management reports
• Assess current processes and recommend system and process improvements
• Stay current with payroll regulations, standards, and work methods

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full-cycle payroll
• PCP or PCP is progress
• Larger ERP systems, ideally Vista by Viewpoint
• Proficiency with excel (vlookups and pivots)
