Job summary

West Point Grey Academy is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our Finance team. This 0.6 FTE hybrid role focuses on accurate semi-monthly payroll for ~200 employees and comprehensive benefits administration.

You will work closely with Finance and HR to ensure data integrity and timely, accurate pay and benefits support. Ideal candidates bring payroll and benefits experience in mid-sized organizations, familiarity with HRIS and payroll reporting tools, and a PCP designation or

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration and benefits administration within a mid-size organization.
• Demonstrated ability to apply payroll legislation and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll reporting tools to support accurate pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Administer semi-monthly payroll for about 200 employees with precision and timeliness.
• Coordinate enrollment, changes, leaves, retirements, and terminations for benefits and Group RRSP.
• Prepare year-end tax slips (T4s) and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Support payroll and benefits inquiries with professional, timely responses.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to strengthen controls and improve processes.
