Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Finance Payroll team in Peterborough, Ontario. The role focuses on processing and analyzing payroll data, ensuring accuracy, and supporting compliance across our organization.

You will collaborate with finance and HR, handle bi-weekly payroll in the ERP system, complete monthly journal entries, and assist with audits. Experience in healthcare payroll and advanced Excel skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a post secondary accounting/business program.
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner required.
• 3+ years of analytical experience in finance or payroll; health care sector preferred.
• 2+ years experience processing payroll for medium to large organizations.
• Experience with union collective agreements and pension plans is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze payroll information, investigate issues, provide reporting.
• Reconcile key payroll items and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with ongoing payroll audit and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and HR to ensure standard practices and legislative compliance.
• Support payroll initiatives and act as a change agent.
• Assist with monthly payroll account analysis and bi-weekly payroll in ERP.
