Ozz Electric in Vaughan, Ontario seeks a Payroll Administrator to join our team. You will manage full-cycle payroll for unionized and office staff, ensuring accurate time validation, filings, and year-end processing.

You will collaborate with HR to handle retro increases, post to the GL, and respond to employee inquiries. A background with Jonas payroll and MS Office is preferred, with 3–5 years of payroll experience.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll administration.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• PCP certification or current enrolment is an asset.
• University degree in Business/Accounting is an asset.
• Experience with Jonas payroll system is an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal, Provincial and Local legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Full cycle payroll administration for payrolls in Ontario, British Columbia, and Washington, including time data validation and ROE processing.
• Responsible for Union reporting and inquiries.
• Coordinate with HR to maintain electrician’s level and retro increases.
• JE postings and GL reconciliations for payroll accounts; assist with ad-hoc accounting requests.
• Reconciliation and processing of required filings (Source Deductions, WSIB, EHT, 941/940, garnishments, RRSP, etc.).
• Respond to employee inquiries and maintain employment files.
• Perform all other duties to meet company objectives.
