Job summary

Jonas Software, a leading software provider, is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Markham to manage full cycle payrolls for US and Canada. You will work under the Payroll Supervisor to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.

You will prepare reports, respond to government requests, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with HR and finance to resolve payroll questions efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Canadian and US payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Pay at Work platform preferred.
• Accounting or payroll diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer full cycle semi-monthly payrolls for US and Canada.
• Prepare payroll reports using Report Writer.
• Answer payroll requests from government agencies and auditors.
• Maintain payroll data: hires, terminations, benefits, 401(k), RRSP.
• Ensure compliance with US/Canada government regulations.
• Process remittances, W-2s, T4s and related payroll documents.
