Job summary

A dynamic firm in well construction is seeking a skilled Payables Accountant. This role involves managing full-cycle accounts payable processes, including entering invoices and monitoring payments while ensuring accuracy. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable and strong knowledge of AP processes and Excel. Your role with us:

The Payables Accountant is responsible to perform full-cycle accounts payable processes, accurately entering invoices, and processing and monitoring payments and expenditures in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and in accordance with the agreed-upon terms.

You will bring to the role:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, month-end close, and reporting.
  • Experience processing EFT payments.
  • Experience managing a visa/credit card program.
  • Experience using an ERP system with strong Microsoft Office Excel, and Word skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and teambuilding skills.
