Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant for our Belleville, ON location. You will be responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher or wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, with a focus on outstanding customer service and strong communication skills.

Shifts are 12 hours, with 3-4 days per week, Monday–Sunday. The role requires valid EMS certifications or active progress toward relevant diplomas, BLS training if needed, a G-class license, and

Formación

• Valid First Responder or EMCA certification, or paramedic year-1, or Fire Fighter with EMR.
• Valid BLS certification (training provided if needed).
• G class driving license.
• Ability to lift 250+ lbs. with partner.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Safe driving with clean driving record.
• Able to obtain clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
• Up-to-date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, TB test) within last 12 months.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
• Night and weekend availability if requested.

Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendants, for an existing role for our Belleville, ON Location

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Shifting Requirements

• We offer a competitive hourly pay of $19.50/ hour
• Must be available Monday - Sunday (12 Hour Shifts - 3 - 4 days per week)

Requirements

Your Profile

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed)
• You possess a valid G class driving license
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
• You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts
• You have night and weekend availability if requested
