Job summary

Transdev Ontario Manitoba in Smith Falls is hiring 1 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendant to transport patients safely to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences. You will provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

This role requires valid First Responder or EMCA or Paramedic year 1, BLS, a G class license, ability to lift 250+ lbs, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• You possess a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
• You have a Valid BLS Certification (training provided if needed).
• You possess a valid G class driving license.
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record.
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
• You have up to date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 2 doses, TB Skin Test Step 1) valid within last 12 months.
• You are comfortable with 12hrs shifts.
• You have night and weekend availability if requested.
