FYidoctors Victoria - Shelbourne clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service and support to patients in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role supports check-in/out, pre-testing, appointment coordination, billing, and eyewear services.

You will engage with patients in person, by phone, and by email, providing an outstanding patient experience while contributing to clinic operations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors Victoria - Shelbourne clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
