FYidoctors Dartmouth clinic on Portland Street seeks a Patient Services Specialist to deliver outstanding service and support to patients. This full-time role (30-40 hours weekly) requires local travel within a 20 km radius and offers a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, pre-testing, scheduling, billing, eyewear care, and maintaining a positive patient experience through collaboration and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients.

Our FYidoctors Dartmouth - Portland Streetclinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday. The role requires travel within a 20 km radius of the designated location.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
