FYidoctors Wolfville, part of the FYidoctors family, is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to welcome patients, manage check-in/out, and support eye care services in a fast-paced clinic.

The role involves pre-testing, appointment coordination, billing tasks, eyewear adjustments, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. A collaborative, adaptable team player with strong communication is ideal.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors Wolfville, FYidoctors Berwick and FYidoctors New Minas clinics are looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a casual role working0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
