Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant for Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The role supports pharmacists and technicians, greets customers, handles prescription entries, and helps with daily operations to ensure efficient pharmacy service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Proficiency with prescription data entry and insurance processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care.
• Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally.
• Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under supervision.
• Count, measure, and package medications accurately.
• Receive and stock medications, monitor inventory, rotate stock, and assist audits.
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and dispose of expired medications per regulations.
• Perform clerical tasks and assist with insurance claims and transfers.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and other duties as assigned.
