Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Patient Management Centre Representative to welcome patients, families and staff at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The role provides information, patient navigation and access to services to enhance the patient experience at the Main Floor Information Desk.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of practical and related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills in a health-related environment are an asset.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and time management abilities.
• Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, patient navigation support and access to hospital services at the information desk.
• Answer, screen and forward calls; take messages and relay information as required.
• Receive, sort, date-stamp and coordinate mail, packages and interoffice correspondence.
• Prepare Patient Education materials for clinics and support patients and families navigating services.
• Utilize EPIC in line with privacy and confidentiality policies.
