Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a post-secondary certificate in Office/Medical Administration, with 2–4 years of related experience, excellent customer service, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary certificate in Office/Medical Administration or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Address patient inquiries in person and over the phone
• Book and schedule appointments via phone, online, and in person
• Triage appointment requests and communicate with providers
• Cancel or reschedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups
• Receive and document scans and faxes
• Use and optimize EMR systems and implement tools for quality improvement
• Maintain calendars and filing systems
• Ensure efficient operation of the booking process
