Job summary

Corus Orthodontists is seeking a New Patient Coordinator to join STO Orthodontists in Scarborough, Ontario. This replacement role focuses on creating positive patient experiences, managing files, and optimizing patient flow within a collaborative team.

The position emphasizes administrative support, patient intake, and coordination across locations, with a 35-hour workweek and competitive hourly compensation. Orthodontic software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of administrative experience in a dental office (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with orthodontic software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact with prospective patients by phone or in person.
• Schedule consultations and record patient information on intake forms.
• Correspond with dental offices to request X-rays and related records.
• Contact insurance providers to verify orthodontic coverage.
• Ensure intake forms are completed prior to visits.
• Guide patients through the in-office consultation process and support admin duties.
• Support general administrative tasks as needed.
