Job summary

Corus Orthodontists in Calgary, AB is seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our thriving practice. You will support orthodontists, take dental records, and educate patients while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

The role requires 1+ year of RDA experience in an orthodontic setting, strong communication skills, and proficient computer/orthodontic software abilities. Join a supportive team focused on growth and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Registered Dental Assistant experience.
• 1+ year of experience working in an orthodontic office.
• Completion of the Ortho Module.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; orthodontic software experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support orthodontists in providing excellent patient care
• Take dental records, including x-rays, scans, and impressions
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and treatment
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and assist with sterilization and lab duties
• Welcome, support, and build positive relationships with patients throughout their visits
