• Process referral letters and organize patient records and charts.
• Address potential cancellations and encourage continued patient attendance.
• Bill patients post-treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries.

The wage for this Patient Care Coordinator position is$25-$30/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

• Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression
• Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps
• Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
• Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts
• Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments
• Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments,submitinsurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner

About You:

• Minimum 1 year ofDental Administrationexperienceisrequired
• Experience with dental software programs is required
• Clinical backgroundis considered anasset
