Avant Respiratory is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator in Campbell River, BC. The role focuses on welcoming patients, handling inquiries, scheduling, and providing administrative support to clinicians.

You'll work in-person, with training provided and a benefits package. The position offers a stable full-time schedule and opportunities for growth within a patient-centered sleep therapy practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, administration, reception, or a customer-facing role is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Comfortable with new software and computer systems.
• Experience with EMR or healthcare software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients in person, by phone, and virtually with questions and general support.
• Manage incoming referrals and prepare patient files.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records.
• Coordinate insurance coverage, pre-authorizations, and claim submissions.
• Process payments, create invoices, and support inventory management.
• Support clinicians with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Maintain clinic organization and professional presentation.
• Schedule equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.

As our Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be the first friendly face patients meet – helping them feel welcome, informed, and supported from their very first call. What You’ll Do

• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
