Avant Respiratory in Lethbridge, Alberta is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. You will warmly welcome clients, book appointments, process inquiries, and support oxygen therapy and PAP equipment setup.

In this full-time role, you will bill insurance, maintain records in EMR, manage supplies, and contribute to on-call rotations while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring patients receive timely, accurate care.

Qualifications

2+ years of Medical Administration or Customer Service experience preferred; healthcare or sleep therapy experience is an asset.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Background in sales support or merchandising is an asset.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks or similar software, and CRM/EMR systems.
Professional, friendly communicator with strong time management and listening skills.

Responsibilities

Warmly welcome clients, assist with purchases, book appointments, and answer inquiries.
Answer calls/faxes, route correspondence, manage supply requisitions and office duties.
Bill insurance providers and government agencies, maintain records of submissions and payments.
Follow patient charting protocols in the EMR system.
Assist with oxygen setup and troubleshooting of oxygen therapy and PAP equipment.
Assist with CPAP setup, inventory, and re-supply calls; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Support marketing efforts and participate in on-call rotation.

We're expanding – building our new oxygen therapy division and looking for an organized, personable Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Lethbridge, AB. What You'll Do

Warmly welcome clients, assist with purchases, book appointments, and answer general therapy inquiries
Answer phone calls and faxes, route correspondence and inquiries to the right associates, and manage supply requisitions and other office duties
Bill insurance providers and government agencies, and maintain accurate records of submissions and payments to minimize accounts receivable
Follow patient charting protocols in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
Assist with initial oxygen set-up and basic troubleshooting of oxygen therapy and PAP equipment and supplies
Assist clients with CPAP set-up, troubleshooting, inventory, and re-supply calls, lifting up to 50 lbs of equipment as needed
Support marketing efforts (literature supplies, referral relationships, social media, patient feedback) and participate in a fair, equitable on-call rotation

What We're Looking For

2+ years of Medical Administration or Customer Service experience preferred; healthcare or sleep therapy experience is an asset but not required – training is provided
Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required
Background in sales support and merchandising is an asset
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail
