HotelArts is currently looking for a Pastry Cook 1 to join our pastry team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will consistently provide quality pastries and desserts daily, in an organized and efficient manner, working alongside the pastry team.

This full-time position requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and the ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays. Commitment to food quality and proper handling is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar pastry role.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, desserts, and baked goods to standard.
• Maintain mise en place in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all food products.
• Follow provincial health regulations and food handling techniques.
• Monitor food cost, portions, and waste controls.
