CJ Equipment Sales and Service in Timmins, Ontario seeks a motivated Parts Technician to assist mechanics by identifying, sourcing and stocking parts for equipment repairs. You will look up parts in manuals and electronic catalogs, prepare quotations, purchase orders and invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires accurate inventory control, strong computer and organizational skills, and excellent customer service.

• Experience in a parts department or heavy equipment industry preferred.

We are looking for a motivated, organized and customer-focused Parts Technician to join our team!

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics in identifying and sourcing parts for equipment repairs. Order, receive and organize parts and supplies, Maintain accurate parts inventory and stock levels. Look up parts using equipment manuals and electronic parts catalogues, Provide parts support to mechanics, service staff and customers. Prepare parts quotations, purchase orders and invoices. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers. Track incoming and outgoing parts orders. Ensure parts are available when needed to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain a clean, safe and organized parts department. Work closely with the service department to keep jobs moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a parts department or heavy equipment industry is an asset. Knowledge of heavy equipment parts and components is preferred. Good computer and organizational skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
