Job summary

RGH Commercial Equipment Services in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Parts Support Specialist to maintain positive relationships with service technicians and manufacturers, create estimates, and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role may involve in-person counter sales and requires strong communication, proficiency with ERP and MS Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new ERP systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Technically savvy with the ability to read manufacturer manuals and identify parts via online catalog.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 50 wpm.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with precise attention to detail.
• Strong time management, organization and multitasking abilities.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Generates estimates for technician group.
• Provides regular, timely communication with customers to maximize conversion rate.
• Engages with technician group to determine the required parts for service orders.
• Researches part manufacturers' resources to identify commercial food equipment parts.
• Verifies and updates accurate part information for customer accounts.
• Liaises with service technicians and manufacturers for technical support calls.
• Listens to and understands customer needs and provides quotes.
• Issues purchase orders for material and part pickups from local suppliers.
• Sources parts from various sources.
