Job summary

Manulift, the Canadian leader in telescopic forklifts, is expanding nationwide and seeks a Parts Specialist - External Customer Support to ensure essential parts are available and service levels remain high.

You will report to the Parts Manager, handle external customer inquiries, manage inventory, prepare quotes and orders, check supplier availability, and maintain strong supplier and client relationships, with a daytime Mon-Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Skilled in a computerized environment.
• Knowledge of industrial parts is an asset.
• Experience in supervising a team is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests (counter, telephone, fax and / or email).
• Evaluate the customers' needs for parts.
• Search for parts using manuals or on various supplier sites (if necessary).
• Prepare quotes in relation to client requests.
• Prepare customer sales orders in the system.
• Check parts availability on the network.
• Check the availability of parts with suppliers.
• Prepare inter-branch orders when necessary.
• Take charge of the parts supply / prepare supplier orders.
• Monitor and control the inventory.
• Follow up and deal with suppliers concerning specific orders and issued quotes.
• Maintain good relationships with clients.
• All other related tasks.
