Job summary

Murray Hyundai Winnipeg is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager to support the Parts Manager in daily operations, inventory management, and customer service. The role focuses on optimizing stock levels, parts sourcing, and collaboration with Service, Sales, and wholesale teams.

You will coach Parts Advisors, drive departmental metrics, and build strong vendor relationships, while maintaining accuracy in records and adherence to manufacturer policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a parts department with dealership background preferred.
• Solid mechanical knowledge to identify and source correct parts.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with customers, technicians and vendors.
• Proven leadership skills with coaching and development of team members.
• Wholesale parts experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily Parts Department operations, ensuring workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stocking strategies across departments.
• Coach and develop Parts Advisors and team members.
• Collaborate with Service, Technicians and Sales for parts availability.
• Maintain vendor relationships and manage pricing, returns, and warranties.
• Monitor KPIs like sales, gross profit, fill rates and turnover.
• Resolve customer concerns with timely, professional support.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accurate records.
