Job summary

Dodge City is looking for an Assistant Parts Manager to oversee procurement, inventory, and distribution of automotive parts across Canada. You will work with suppliers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure availability of the right parts at the right time.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in an auto dealership Parts Department leadership role, strong inventory and procurement skills, and knowledge of CDK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in an automotive dealership Parts Department in a leadership role
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and have a valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory management
• Advanced knowledge of CDK dealer management system

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
• Monitor market trends to anticipate parts demand
• Supervise a team of parts specialists and coordinate their work
• Promote and sell parts to customers and build relationships
• Complete paperwork, processing invoices, and administrative tasks
