The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Parts Journeyperson to join our team in Kelowna, BC . As the Parts Journeyperson, you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to our Parts customers and the Service department, in addition to managing the receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Parts Salesperson, your key responsibilities will include :

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers
• Contributing to the achievement of branch revenue and margin targets
• Managing key customer accounts
• Providing multiple solutions for pricing and parts availability for requested quotes
• Following up on outstanding quotes, working to close all possible orders
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts
• Overseeing inventory and requesting required parts
• Supporting with the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound orders
• Collecting payment from customers and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Processing customer credits and returns efficiently
• Recording all sales transactions and verifying receiving documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies :

Journeyman Parts ticket or enrollment in a Parts Apprenticeship program

At least two years of experience in a related role

Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery and parts strongly preferred

Previous sales and related industry experience preferred

Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A customer-oriented mindset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

Confident self-starter with the ability to work effectively autonomously

The base pay range for this role is : $32.67 to $43.40 per hour depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Kelowna, BC .
