Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking an Ottawa East-based Parts Counterperson for a full-time role, with Monday–Friday day shifts. The job involves selling commercial vehicle parts over the counter or by phone, and maintaining order accuracy and records in a busy dealership environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least six months of OTC sales experience, with SAP knowledge considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Driver's Abstract required.
• Experience with SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of OHSA regulations and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

The Parts Counterperson sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter or by phone. This is a full-time position in our Ottawa East location. Will be working Monday to Friday day shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.


• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
